12.png

Awareness is the first step to supporting mental health at work... All packaged as a Lunch & Learn.

  • Duration: 45 minutes

  • Delivery Options: In person or virtual

  • Ideal Audience: All employees, supervisors and leaders

Awareness is the first step to action. In the workplace, that means knowing what mental health looks like on a good day — and spotting when something changes. Sometimes it’s not about dramatic shifts but the small, more subtle signs that tell us a colleague might be struggling.

In this engaging session, participants will explore how mental health impacts workplace relationships, performance, and safety, and why stigma (or even the fear of it) can keep people silent. You’ll learn to spot early changes in mood, attitude, or behaviour that may signal a problem, with a focus on the most common mental health challenges in Canada: anxiety and depression. The session also highlights available workplace and community resources, giving you a strong foundation to support mental wellness in your team or organization.

Key Learning Outcomes for Participants:

  • Recognize the signs of common mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression.

  • Spot subtle changes in behaviour, mood, or performance that may signal a problem.

  • Understand how stigma impacts help-seeking behaviours in the workplace.

  • Identify workplace and community resources available to support mental health.

  • Build a foundation for fostering psychological health and safety in your workplace.
